Mission File

A future tabloid from the invasion timeline.

2050 follows the invasion that changed everything: first sightings, public panic, impossible technology, recovered messages, and the deeper question of who is really telling the story.

Each issue returns to the same unfolding event from a different angle, using AI-assisted images and stories as field reports from a timeline where disclosure did not arrive quietly.

Submission Call

Send a signal to 2050.

2050 is looking for compact sci-fi transmissions made with AI in the loop. Each submission should fit one of the three rotating magazine categories from The Invasion that Rocked the World.

Initial Contact First sightings, first messages, first panic, first proof. Earth's Reaction Governments, families, media, religions, markets, schools, cities, and ordinary people responding to the invasion. Information Learned New knowledge gained as the alien invasion unfolds: technology, biology, motives, warnings, maps, or impossible facts.
  • AI-assisted work only. You do not just have permission to use AI; you must use AI somewhere in the process.
  • One image, no larger than 1 MB.
  • One original story, essay, report, or dispatch under 2,000 words.
  • Choose one rotating category: Initial Contact, Earth's Reaction, or Information Learned.
  • The machine may generate, mutate, draft, remix, or sharpen it, but the final signal should still feel chosen by a human.
  • Selected pieces may be considered for publication inside HendrickMedia or an upcoming 2050 issue.
